Abrites J1850 SAE J1850 Adapter for AVDI

The Abrites J1850 Adapter lets the AVDI run Abrites special functions over the SAE J1850 diagnostic protocols used on older Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Plymouth and Ford vehicles, among others. Without it, the AVDI cannot communicate with cars that use J1850 instead of CAN.

J1850 vehicles are mostly reached for key programming, along with other functions.

Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep cluster work. The CR006 Instrument Cluster Configuration licence needs the J1850 adapter on these models:

• Chrysler 300M
• Chrysler PT Cruiser (2002–2006)
• Chrysler Voyager (up to 2007)
• Dodge Neon (1998–2005)
• Dodge RAM (2001–2006)
• Jeep Grand Cherokee (2002–2004)
• Jeep Cherokee (2002–2006)

Older Harley-Davidson bikes. Harley-Davidson motorcycles with the 4-pin diagnostic connector may also need to communicate over SAE J1850 — the J1850 adapter is required in those cases.

An AVDI with an active annual subscription is required. Hardware warranty is one year from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
