Abrites EM001 ESL / ELV Emulator for Mercedes-Benz

The Abrites EM001 Electronic Steering Lock (ESL/ELV) Emulator is a 3-in-1 solution covering every Mercedes FBS3-based model, including the cases where the emulator needs personalising. It is the fix when the original electronic steering lock is defective, and it is plug and play on some models.

The emulator is part of the new Abrites design, manufacturing and development process — the whole unit is designed, developed and produced in-house.

• E-Class (2002–2016) — W210, W211, W212, W207 and related models on the same platform
• S-Class (2005–2013) — W221 and related models on the same platform
• Vito / Viano (2003–2014) — W639
• Mercedes and Dodge Sprinter (2006–2018) — W906

The model the emulator is set to work with is chosen using the toggle switches on the unit itself. Emulators update to the latest firmware automatically through the current version of the Abrites Diagnostics for Mercedes software.

An AVDI interface with a valid annual subscription is required whenever the ESL emulator has to be personalised — W176, W204, W212 and similar. Emulator updates can also be run with direct power through the ZN151 DS-Box.

Hardware warranty is one year from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
